This IV Calculator/Stat Calculator/Hidden Power Calculator has been written by Hercules G. Papatheodorou a.k.a Arty2, owner of Legendary Pokémon.
It allows the calculation of any Pokémon's Individual Values when given
the Pokémon's species, nature, stats and Effort Points.
It's written in JavaScript to ensure cross-system
compatibility. It is a single file download (can easily fit on a floppy
disc) and requires nothing but the pre-installed browser that can be
found on any Operating System.
This calculator is designed for Ruby/Sapphire and newer
versions; Gold/Silver and previous versions are not compatible with it,
so make sure you know which version you are playing. This Program
requires JavaScript, which is enabled by default in most browsers
(Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Konqueror). If you
want to work on this Program or put it in your website, please read the

What are IVs and EPs?
If such terms sound Greek to you, then you should first read a Training Guide.
IV Calculation
Individual Values range from 0 to 31. Precision % shows the possibity
of "average IV" being the actual IV.
Note: You have 1 chance in 32 to get a an IV of 31 in one stat, 1 in
1.024 to get a max IV in two stats and 1 chance in 1.073.741.824 to
find a Pokémon with max IV in all 6 stats. Remember that it is not
possible to accurately calculate the IVs of low leveled Pokémon unless
their stats are projected to Lv. 100 in a Wi-Fi battle for example.
This calculator works best for Pokémon above Lv.50.
Stat Calculation
You can edit the Average IVs, and Effort Points and accurately calculate a Pokémon's stats on any given Level.
Hidden Power
This move has a variable Type and Base Power, depending on the user's
IVs. You can edit the Average IVs and get different results from the
defaults - the accuracy of your IVs is crucial. An easier and
absolutely accurate way to determine a Pokémon's Hidden Power type, is
to attack a wild Kecleon or talk to the Hidden Power guy in the
GameCorner Prizes Building (Platinum only).
EV training tools
Effort Points range from 0 to 255. You can select the opponent Pokémon
(that won't change your own data) set Pokérus status on/off, select the
proper held item and number of Pokémon fought to track the Effort
Points your Pokémon has gained. Also, if you first Calculate Stats for your current Level and then change your current stats and select Calculate EPs required you can view how many EPs are required to reach these specific stats.
Inaccurate input
When your input is wrong, it shall be either corrected or marked with red
color. If you are completely sure that your input is correct, then
ignore the error indicators; the calculator will work as expected.
Autocomplete
Try typing the Pokémon's name, number or nature in the textboxes beside
the dropdown lists if you want quick access to a Pokémon or Nature.
Save and Load
Click on the Save button to generate a link that you can keep in your bookmarks or send to a friend, then click the Load button to load the data saved. Here's an example.
Online features
Automatic detection of online status provides Pokémon sprites and Version Check.
Themes
You can use themes that alter the Calculator's default appearance. You can also add your own themes.
IM friendly output
The Calculator also exports all results into a single line of plain
text so that you can easily copy/paste it to your preferred Instant
Messenger or IRC client.
Print Smart
Try printing
this page; the theme will change so it is print-friendly. You can now
easily organize your Pokémon by printing their stats as calculated by
this program.
